Food vouchers distributed by the Adirondack Community Outreach Center Food Pantry were made possible through a combination of grants and local sponsorships. This year, approximately $7,000 worth of vouchers was redeemed at the market!
Our generous Season Sponsors contribute $500, and these funds are used exclusively for our "Pantry Goes to Market" program which in collaboration with the Adirondack Community Outreach Center, allows the North Creek Farmers Market to provide market vouchers to food pantry recipients. This arrangement is mutually beneficial to our regional vendors and to the families who benefit from the fresh, locally sourced food products.
