Our generous Season Sponsors have allowed the North Creek Farmers Market to collaborate with the Adirondack Community Outreach Center, to provide market vouchers to food pantry recipients.  This arrangement is mutually beneficial to our regional vendors and to the families who benefit from the fresh, locally sourced food products. 

 

Each Season Sponsorship is $500, and with these funds we provide the vouchers to pantry recipients.  We acknowledge our Season Sponsors in our social media and at the market site. 

 

Another program the North Creek Farmers Market has initiated is a collaboration with Hudson Headwaters Health Network Foundation to provide vouchers to North Creek Health Center patients who are experiencing food insecurity, and to patients getting nutrition counseling for health issues such as diabetes and/or heart disease.  During the 2022 season, a total of $3500 in vouchers were distributed.
